Submitted for your consideration this evening is this authentic royal doulton figurine known as, marguerite, made in england bearing the green trademark and early hand written hn 1928 artist signed with the lion over the british crown. This lovely large piece measures approximately 8 inches tall.
This stunning statuesque young woman dressed in spectacular attire is depicted in exquisite detail! Displays beautifully! This figurine evidently came in several versions, the hn1928 being the earliest version number. Designed by leslie harradine based on the stanislaus longley design 'summer breezes'. This very early rare hand numbered issue is in superb original antique condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, fading, staining, or repairs! Pattern colors are extremley bright, crisp, and vibrant! Issued in 1940 and retired in 1959.
