Royal Doulton Figurine Orange Lady

From the 1953 marked on the bottom it looks like she is about 55 years old. She lost her head at one time (must have been when she was much younger) but the surgery was successful and scarring was very minimal. There are no chips, cracks or crazing otherwise. She is 8-1/4 tall and hials from england.
